Our Journey
2008
Launched
Wake Up and Smell the Coffee
an annual summit that connects thousands of students with top professionals and entrepreneurs to share insights on the skills needed to thrive in a fast-changing global economy. The last edition edition had 2000 attendees from 6 Universities
a 7-day employability and entrepreneurship BootCamp held in 2017 and 2018, co-designed with two American professionals through the Mandela Washington Fellowship’s reciprocal exchange program. The program trained around 300 students, many of whom are now thriving across various sectors of the economy.
2019
Organized
Disability Hackathon
designed to engage university students in creating solutions to the challenges faced by persons with disabilities on campus using the design thinking process. 31 teams generated innovative solutions, and 7 teams were selected for an intensive bootcamp, where they had the opportunity to pitch their solutions in front of an audience.
2019
Organized
Youth Empowered Campus Tour
together with Coca-Cola, with CampusLabs as the technical consultant, was redesigned to better fit university students' needs. The program toured 6 universities and impacted 5,000 students. Students were trained on modules ranging from self-awareness and career development to the rapid development of ideas. The lead consultant for the program was Kasher Consulting.
2020
Started
The Data 4 Learning Challenge
designed during the COVID-19 stay-at-home period to help students overcome the challenges of accessing the internet due to high costs. Students submitted videos explaining how internet access would support their learning from home. Over 50 students benefited from this initiative, thanks to the support of the 234 Project.
2022 - 2023
Launched
The Employability Incubator

It consists of five key components: class sessions, internships, business case challenges, community impact challenges, and mentorship placements. Alumni from this program have launched successful careers and businesses with outstanding results.
